I’m very grateful to step into the role as Course Director for Art Director 2 at Berghs School of Communication.
Craft has always been central to how I see the role of an Art Director. The small decisions. The patience. The difference between something that works and something that truly feels considered. Being able to spend time with students who are still shaping their creative voice is both grounding and inspiring.
What I hope to bring to the course is not answers, but attention. Attention to typography. To composition. To intention. To the thinking behind the thinking. Craft is not about perfection. It’s about care.
Teaching also forces me to articulate things I usually do instinctively. That process alone is valuable.
I’m looking forward to the conversations, the experiments, and seeing how each student finds their own way of working.
